About MBSSS
The Charity Commission scheme of August 2002 makes provision for 4 nominated trustees and 4 co-opted trustees.
The nominated trustees must be appointed as follows:
- Two by Liverpool City Council
- One by the Liverpool Association of Secondary Heads
- One by the Association of Liverpool Special School Heads
Appointments by Liverpool City Council continue until a successor is appointed and appointments of other trustees both nominated and co-opted are for an initial period of four years but with the option to seek re-election at the end of the term of office.
Prior to August 2002 the charity had been administered by Liverpool City Council as corporate trustees.
The following persons have been Trustees in the year ending 31st March 2010.
Nominated Trustees:
- Councillor Jan Clein – nominated by Liverpool City Council.
- Mr Paul Cronin - nominated by the Association of Liverpool Special School Heads.
- Mr Brian Davies (Secretary) – nominated by Liverpool Association of Secondary Heads.
Co-opted Trustees:
- Mrs Christine Boycott - (Chair)
- Ms Joan Darwin
- Mr Brian Hodson - (Treasurer)
- Mr Peter Barnes
